My computer was not running smoothly and I received a link to "try out" the dll fixer at dll-files.com fixer. I tried it, did not solve my problems, and I attempted to remove it through the regular Control Panel app. Although it was supposed to have removed it, it continued to appear on my desktop, and it shows on the Control Panel list of installed programs. I have continued to remove it and I get an error message stating that it cannot be removed because it "doesn't exist." How can I get rid of this program once and for all?

This is a very common method that the spyware/malware producers use to promote their products.
Plus, the annoying thing is that a survey page will display in front of you when uninstalling. Just close it.
